Keep your number
Bringing your number to manaMOBILE will be free, takes about one business day, and you won’t lose service while it happens. Here’s exactly how it’ll work and what to have ready when we launch.
What you’ll need
- Your phone number
- Your account number with your current carrier
- A transfer PIN (sometimes called a “number transfer” or “port-out” PIN)
- Your name & billing ZIP exactly as they appear on your current bill
- Turn off any “Number Lock” / port-out protection on your old account
How it works
- 1Reserve your plan and join the waitlist.
- 2Gather the items above from your current carrier (guide below).
- 3At launch we set up your eSIM and submit the transfer — usually done within one business day. You stay connected the whole time.
- 4Your number rings on manaMOBILE. Cancel your old line — and that’s it.
Get your transfer PIN — by carrier
| Your current carrier | Where to get your transfer PIN | Heads-up |
|---|---|---|
| T-Mobile | T-Life app → Manage → Permissions → Transfer PIN | Turn off “Number Lock” first. |
| Verizon | Text or dial #PORT (#7678) from your phone | Account # is 10 digits — add a leading 0 if you only see 9. Turn off Number Lock. |
| AT&T | Dial *PORT (*7678) from your phone | Make sure your phone is carrier-unlocked. |
| Mint Mobile | Chat in the Mint app, or call 800-683-7392 and ask for your “Account Number” | No self-serve PIN — do this a day ahead. |
| Visible | Visible app → Account | Visible can hold your PIN 24–72 hrs — start this one FIRST. |
| US Mobile | US Mobile dashboard → Port out | Note which network your line uses. |
| Boost Mobile | Boost One app → Security → Port Out | PIN stays valid ~30 days. |
| Metro by T-Mobile | Set at signup, or call 888-863-8768 | Any prepaid balance won’t transfer. |
| Spectrum Mobile | App → Mobile → “Transfer number out” | Your mobile account # is NOT your internet account #. |
By law, your carrier can’t hold your number for an unpaid balance, a contract, or an early-termination fee — only an unreleased lock or a wrong PIN can stop a transfer.
🌺 Were you with Mobi?
You’re not stuck. Even though Mobi shut down, your 808 number is usually still
recoverable — your account number is your phone number, and your
transfer PIN is the last 6 digits of your SIM (dial *#06# to see it).
We’ll help you bring it over free.
⚠️ Numbers don’t stay portable forever — once the network ages them out they’re gone, so don’t wait.
Number recovery depends on whether your Mobi number is still in the host carrier’s records. Most transfers complete within one business day, but some may take longer or be unrecoverable. manaMOBILE is an independent Hawaiʻi company, not affiliated with Mobi.
