Single eSIM slot phones: Galaxy S20-S22, Z Flip, Note 20, and most A-series have only ONE eSIM slot. If that slot already has another carrier's eSIM, you must delete it before installing manaMOBILE. Your physical SIM in the tray will keep working. Dual eSIM phones: S23 (non-US), S24+, S25 series support two eSIMs active at once — you can add manaMOBILE alongside another eSIM without removing anything.

How to install your manaMOBILE eSIM

These steps work for all Samsung Galaxy models with eSIM support. Some menu names may vary slightly by One UI version.

  1. Open Settings — Swipe down from the top and tap the gear icon, or find Settings in your app drawer.
  2. Go to Connections — Tap Connections (network & connectivity settings).
  3. Tap SIM Manager — Scroll down and select SIM Manager. On some models it's under "SIM card manager" or "Mobile networks → SIM Manager."
  4. Add eSIM — Tap Add eSIM or Add mobile plan. If you see "Scan QR code" and "Use activation code," you're in the right place.
  5. Scan the QR code — Your manaMOBILE email has a QR code. Tap "Scan QR code" and point your camera at it. Or tap "Enter activation code" and paste the long code from your email.
  6. Download and activate — Samsung will download the eSIM profile (10-30 seconds). Tap Add when prompted, then Confirm.
  7. Choose your SIM settings — Once installed, Samsung asks which SIM to use for calls, texts, and data. Set manaMOBILE as your data SIM. You can keep your old carrier as the calls/text SIM.
  8. Restart — A quick restart ensures everything connects to the network. Your manaMOBILE line should show signal bars within 60 seconds.

Model-specific notes

Galaxy S25 / S24 series

Dual eSIM capable

SIM Manager → Add eSIM → scan. Can run 2 eSIMs active at once. These are the easiest Samsungs to set up — no restrictions.

Galaxy S23 series

US: 1 active eSIM

US models can store multiple eSIMs but only ONE active at a time. To switch to manaMOBILE, disable your old carrier's eSIM in SIM Manager first, then add ours.

Galaxy S22 / S21 / S20

Single eSIM slot

Only 1 eSIM slot. If you already have another carrier's eSIM, open SIM Manager → tap the existing eSIM → Remove. Then add manaMOBILE. Your physical SIM in the tray is separate and stays active.

Galaxy Z Fold / Z Flip

Fold 5+: dual eSIM

Fold 5/6 support dual eSIM. Earlier Folds and all Flips have single eSIM. Same setup steps as the S series — SIM Manager → Add eSIM.

Galaxy Note 20

Single eSIM slot

One eSIM only. If that slot is in use, remove the existing eSIM first. Same steps as S20/S21 — SIM Manager → Add mobile plan.

Galaxy A54 / A55

Single eSIM (region dependent)

US models may or may not have eSIM — check Settings → Connections → SIM Manager. If you don't see "Add eSIM," your A-series doesn't support it.

Troubleshooting

I don't see "Add eSIM" in my settings

This means your phone doesn't support eSIM, or your carrier has disabled it. Try: Settings → Connections → SIM Manager. If "Add eSIM" isn't there, your phone is physical-SIM only. You can order a physical SIM from us.

QR code scan shows "Invalid code" or "Can't activate"

Each QR code works once. If you scanned it already or deleted the eSIM, you'll need a new one — contact support and we'll regenerate it immediately. Also check: are you on WiFi? eSIM download needs internet.

The eSIM installed but I have no service

Restart your phone. If still no service, go to SIM Manager, tap the manaMOBILE eSIM, and make sure it's turned ON. Also check Settings → Connections → Mobile networks → Network operators → Select automatically.

I need to delete my old eSIM first — how?

Settings → Connections → SIM Manager → tap the old eSIM → Remove. This only deletes the eSIM from your phone — it doesn't cancel your line. You can always re-add it later from your old carrier.

My Samsung only has one eSIM slot — can I use manaMOBILE and keep my number?

Yes! Port your number to manaMOBILE, and it becomes your only line on the eSIM. Your physical SIM tray stays free. If you want to keep two active numbers on a single-eSIM Samsung, keep one carrier on a physical SIM and put manaMOBILE on the eSIM.
